Participate At Your Own Pace

We've all been there. We visit a coffee house, a restaurant, a pub, a civic club, or a church and are interested enough to try it again. Maybe next week. Maybe after checking out other places. Maybe after a couple of months.

We get that. Take your time. Kick the tires and ask the hard questions. We'd love to have you come back and be a part, but we never want to manipulate, cajole, or guilt you into anything.

But if you ever find yourself thinking any of the the thoughts below, we have simple and safe process to help you on your journey.

I want to attend but I mainly just want to watch, have the liberty to ask questions if I want to, and see what's up.

I want to participate in some activities, but I'm not ready to be a member because:

I have questions, or concerns, or just need to know more.

I am a seasonal resident, a non-resident student, a member of a corporation or an agency that has me here on an extended, but temporary basis. Where do I fit in?

I seem to agree with much of what you believe, but suspect I don't fully agree with all of the church's specific perspectives. Is that a deal breaker?

I want to be a member. How do I make that happen?

What Matters Most

In the panel below you will find our Membership Class Syllabus.

In these sessions you will discover our perspectives on various doctrines

and areas of culture that we believe the Bible addresses.

Coffee?

I have completed the classes. Now what?

Before we answer, let's revisit who we are.

A non-denominational, union style church that has a laser focus on the Gospel.

That focus shapes how we preach and teach. It also affects how we hold these truths. And the tone and tenor of our presentation,

We always strive for a two way dialogue that values Love, Humility, and Civility.

So, you  have completed the classes and are wondering what comes next?

Great question. Depends:

Have some potential deal-breaker questions or concerns?

Have some questions, but you're probably not ready to join just yet?

You're all in. Just waiting on us.

The next steps in the process are identical:

We meet in a relaxed setting and start with what is most pressing to you.

Then we move on to anything else that needs to be covered on our end.

Then what? Depends:

If the pause button gets pressed, we carry on with no problem and

with no penalty. Maybe another casual meeting or two.

Maybe just more time to think, observe, and pray.

It's all good.

Or, if/when it seems to be a good fit for all involved,

we let the other members of the church know the

Sunday following that final decision.

No vows or covenants.

We simply announce your name and you stand (if you wish)

so our folks can know you're officially a part of our local church family and can join in that celebration.
